We’ve started hosting evenings where alcohol is not served, a relaxed opportunity to meet and chat with other researchers in a pleasant environment. If you are interested in hosting one of these evenings, let us know!
Our board games nights are held fortnightly on Tuesdays at the University Club. Join the OxRSS mailing list for postings of these evenings and how to sign up with the hosts.
One of OxRSS’s most popular events is the dinners we periodically host in the halls of Oxford colleges. This is a great opportunity to experience traditional Oxford life, enjoy an excellent dinner, and meet other researchers from across the University.
Sometimes OxRSS hosts parties at the Oxford Artisan Distillery at the Headington end of South Park. These are pleasant evenings where you can experience tastings and meet great people from across the University.
This is an informal group of amateur photographers who meet up to grab a coffee and casually take some pictures around Oxford. If you'd like to be added to the Teams group, contact us.
OxRSS hosts a picnic during the summer, where researchers are invited to bring their partners and children, and to bring a picnic dish, perhaps something from their home country. Previous picnics have been held in University Parks, Port Meadow, and the garden of Maison Française. Keep an eye out for email postings of this popular event!
